I have over 45 years of wood carving experience in many subjects and styles of woodcarving from relief and in-the-round. I have been teaching privately for many years. I have also taught at community centers and the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton.
All classes limited to 8 students
Prices of workshops include the use of a tools and materials (unless noted otherwise).

This open class is designed for students of all levels of woodcarving and need guidance and instruction on self-directed projects.
Students are expected to have some knowledge of carving and supply their own tools and project materials.
No Classes During Summer. Stating back after Labor Day.
Limited to 10
This 6-week course introduces the new woodcarver to basic skills of woodcarving, tool safety, and tool sharpening. You will work on a relief project and learn tools & sharpening basics, proper tool grips, tool safety, setting the ground, stop cuts, v-cuts, undercutting, rounding over and modeling, and finishing techniques.
Cost includes materials and use of tools.

Limited to 6 students
This 6-hour workshop focuses on the basics of carving a spoon from shaping the bowl and detailing the handle, to finishing the spoon so it's ready to use.
